Dr. Doreen Chin has over 35-year experiences in the industries and academia, including long history of working for Shell and for service companies. Her experience ranges from

•   Business development and entrepreneurship: co-founder of three companies. Fund raising, asset acquisition and operation; venture set up. Technical readiness, product qualification and market development for start-up companies. 

•   Offshore/Onshore shale oil and gas: technology development, engineering, analyses, in flow assurance (FA). Field development concepts; FA risk management; production system/facility design. Field development concepts, production operation. 

•   Scientific research: she discovered a “Turning Angle” phenomenon in Flow Boiling in Narrow Channel, was elected as ASME Fellow based on this discovery.
